You Are Set Apart. Live Like It.

You are set apart. Live like it.

This is what Jesus said, “For their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.” Another translation says, “And I give myself as a holy sacrifice for them so they can be made holy by your truth.” (John 17:19)

As men of God, we are not called to blend in with the world’s patterns but to stand distinct—consecrated, set apart, and wholly devoted to Jesus. As we walk this path, we are formed into His image, drawing men to Christ … we are consecrated for the sake of others.

To be consecrated to something means to be set apart, dedicated, or devoted exclusively for a particular purpose—we must bring that to our daily thinking. You’re consecrated. You have a holy calling.

What you think and do matters. It matters for others.

“… for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.” 1 Peter 2:9

When we gather as brothers each year at Lions Roar, we consecrate ourselves afresh, drawing strength from those we meet, challenged by men who have walked similar paths and come out stronger that we ever imagined.

Stay close to our Lord.

Join the brotherhood November 6-8 in Dallas.

Run to the roar.
