Where Are The Warriors?

The great men are being cancelled. We live in a world where the heroes and warriors are being removed ... masculinity diminished.

Every great culture is built on the character of its heroes and the courage of its warriors. True of every great culture, every great family - and every great church. A godless culture tries to diminish God and the presence of Godly men. God will not be defeated. Godly men will rise up.
But, with all the chaos and clamor - here's the most damning issue today - fatherlessness.

Most young men have never heard these words from their father, "I love you and I am proud of you!"

God spoke words of identity and honor over His Son before Jesus embarked on his mission. Every son needs to hear a father's words of identity, blessing, love, and challenge as part of a rite of passage into manhood. Without those words, the mission of manhood is lost.
This week’s devotional features a powerful word from our friend Dr. Kenneth Ulmer. His message will penetrate your heart and challenge you to a new level of fatherhood. You will want to pass it on to others.

He says, "Young men need to be believed in, to be truly 'seen,' and honored by their father or a father-figure. Young men need to be commissioned for the battles ahead."
