This year has taken a toll. Spiritually, mentally, physically, financially, relationally—our lives have been shaken. From riots to quarantines it's been a storm of negative news.
But through it all, I trust Jesus. I don’t believe 2020 has happened “to” us. It’s happened “for” us. This is our place of victory.
So what's the plan?
Here it is ... Jesus laid it out in John 16:33 when he said about the Gospel of Hope, "The Father is with me. I’ve told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace."

Isaiah, wrote, “For behold, the Lord, the Lord of hosts, Takes away from Jerusalem and from Judah, your security, The whole supply of bread and the whole supply of water; The mighty man and the man of war…” (Isaiah 3:1-2 NKJV)
Isaiah said that to destroy a culture God would first take away security, bread and water. That was a spiritual shadow of the presence of God – Father, Son, Holy Spirit.
Then he said, from the culture he would take away THE MIGHTY MAN AND THE MAN OF WAR. The most important people to take out first were what the culture was built on—mighty men and men of war.
Great cultures have always been built on the character of heroes and the courage of warriors.
No wonder Joel wrote: WAKE UP THE MIGHTY MEN! The world needs men with an unshakable spirit.
You are needed by your culture, your community and your family - you are vitally important. Together as brothers we have purpose. We are men on a mission. That mission is Jesus.
The men of CMN are a unique brotherhood. Men who have each other’s back. Men who don’t turn away in the days of trouble. Men who pick up other men. Men who don’t just talk, we act. Men who grow up and become what God designed us to be, what we desire to be, and what our families need us to be. Men who keep our word. Men of humility, grace and love.
Let’s wake up the mighty men! Let’s carry the gospel to every street and every heart in every nation. No man or nation left behind.
