What Problem Were You Born to Solve?

I look for opportunities to be with men who expand and enlarge my life. I have found two things:

ONE: Most successful men spend much of their time solving problems.

A friend who was very successful in business told me, “You’ll always be known by the problems you solve and the problems you create. And you’ll be pursued for the problems you solve.”

TWO: The most content men are those who work on problems they believe they were born to solve. Many leaders state that the problem that irritates you the most is the one you were sent to solve.

My friend and CMN board member Bishop Dale Bronner was raised by a highly successful entrepreneur who was a strong Christian. Bishop Bronner says that his father never asked his six sons, “What do you want to be or do when you grow up?” Instead, he asked, “What problem do you want to solve?”

What problems do you solve?

Do your solutions take you further toward your goals or further away?

Do you solve problems today that have little impact tomorrow?

Or do your solutions help the maximum number of people whose lives you could impact or enrich?

Dig in and start solving a problem today. You cannot solve it unless you start.

One of the best ways to START is to link arms with the brotherhood at Lions Roar November 7-9. It’s three powerful days with top men’s leaders giving you the wisdom to solve problems. It’s forming bonds of friendship that can’t be broken. It’s life-changing.
