What is your first priority?

Jesus came back to life. He defeated death and evil as a warrior for righteousness.

Isaiah calls him the Prince of Peace (Is 9:6). In Exodus, we read "The LORD is a warrior; the LORD is his name" (Ex 15: 3 NIV).

A warrior is not a man of war. He is a man of peace who recognizes that peace is always the result of strength.

Your development as a warrior is vital to the peace you bring to your family and the world around you. The peace of your home starts with you. In an airline safety talk on a plane, the announcement is, “In the case of an emergency, oxygen masks will deploy from above you. Put yours on first, then help someone else.”

First, work on yourself with prayer and preparation.

This is an unusual message for Easter, but it's the reason we have an Easter. Jesus prayed and prepared for battle. When he took a massive hit, he was ready and He won peace for the entire world.

If you only pray when there's an emergency … you’re too late.

Pray now. Read the Word now. Get with your brothers now. Pray with your loved ones now. Get healthy now. Open your eyes and face reality now. Do what you know you need to do … now.

You need to be ready. The world needs you ready. Your family, work, church, community needs you ready.
