One of King David’s men had such grit, he fought in hand to hand combat in a field of beans. Today as we fight for men's lives the principle is the same. Stand and fight. And I need your help.

The man in the bean field, Shammah, was of David’s mighty warriors. At some point in the larger battle, Shammah ended up alone in a field of lentils. The enemy charged him…but he stood. Resolute. Determined. Tenacious. Gritty.
Were they even his beans? His grandpa’s? Maybe it was just some field near the battle, but something cracked open in Shammah’s soul and that was it—he wasn't going to give in. Boldness rose up in his gut. His grit empowered his hands. Courage filled his heart. Fear vanished. He stood and fought…
When I read the Biblical account, I hear this warrior yelling something like:
“This has gone on too long. You have tried to take too much. Now, I'm taking back this field! You can come at me all day—but I am not giving up these beans!” He defeated hundreds of warriors and turned a losing battle into a great victory.
Today if you're in a battle - remember Shammah. Stand in the power of the name of Jesus and declare, "This is my land. I fight in the name of Jesus and victory is my inheritance!"
Our mission is clear. We are CMN, we rescue men.
We are not on a mission to build a larger ministry. Our mission is to build larger men.
