This Champion Won the Culture Wars

This is César Herrera and his young family in Peru. He has a great testimony.

As a young man, he didn’t fall into drugs, wasn’t in prison, was not abused. It could have happened that way, he grew up around difficult communities, but the mentoring of Godly men changed everything. Because when a man is discipled, it changes everything.....

As a young man, César was discipled at Camino de Vida Church in Lima. Pastor Christian Scheelje was a mentor working with Pastor Robert Barriger and others.

César learned as a young man what it was to be a man of his word, a man of covenant … a maximized man.

Here he is in his own words;

“I had the privilege of joining the Christian Men's Network at a very young age, and to complete the curriculum and graduate was a great blessing.

“I began to build a solid foundation based on biblical principles and witnessed how God's Word protects and blesses me.

“Key principles such as maturity comes with accepting responsibility, being a champion means never giving up, and being a strong and determined man in a world filled with men who think like children and don’t know the fatherhood of our God have shaped my life.

“Many times, I was afraid to grow, but I learned that God's Word is as effective as using soap—it cleanses and renews. Despite many difficulties in my life, God always placed in my heart a love for His Word, guiding me away from the wrong path and keeping me from many problems.

“Then, at the age of 25, I marry my beautiful Karinita. God blessed me abundantly—far beyond what I had planned. Today, we have a wonderful family with two beautiful children, and I am living this season of my life as a loving husband and father, protector, and provider.

“I also had the privilege of teaching in the Christian Men's Network alongside my earthly father. It has been an incredible season and a great challenge because my first student is myself. It is not enough to learn the principles; but I need apply them every day. My second most important student is my son, Mijael, who, at a very young age, is already learning to love and serve God with passion.

“Finally, all the men I teach in the ministry—whether single or married—who needs to receive this great revelation: manhood and Christlikeness are synonymous. Helping them discover the incredible potential they each have by living out their manhood to the fullest according to God's design is truly challenging, but it is life-changing.”

Because when a man is discipled, everything changes. Discipled men discipled César, now he disciples others, his son will follow....

This is what it’s all about. Generational blessing!
