Lions Roar 2025 was powerful because of the touch of God and remarkable because of the men who attended.
Men who are thriving despite the brutality of the C-suites, men redeemed from the brutality of the cartels, men set free in the shadow of despots, and now all of them thriving as husbands, fathers, career men.
Fathers with sons, growing in relationship, sharing a transformative experience. Men with wives, getting away together, building on their restored marriages.
Matthew told us what it was like to walk alongside Jesus:
Large crowds followed Jesus as He came down the mountainside. Suddenly, a man with leprosy approached him and knelt at his feet.
"Lord," the man said, "if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean."
Jesus reached out and touched him. "I am willing," Jesus said. "Be healed." And instantly the leprosy disappeared.
From the opening session with Doug Stringer to the commissioning and anointing event on Saturday with Dennis Sempebwa, the call of God was clear -- go to the neighbors, the communities, the nations and take the touch of God to those who are in desperate need.
