Nat's a surfer and lawn guy who checks in at church on Sundays. His wife wanted to fly to Lions Roar to see friends, so he reluctantly boarded a plane to leave the beach for a weekend of “more church.” At the end of the first day, he bought a CMN jacket. Roman was tired of dead ends and his mom’s guestroom—couch surfing at age 31. At Lions Roar, Robert Kalatschan challenged him. Robert followed up. Eight months later, Roman boarded a flight to join the mission in Vietnam for a short stint. More than a year later, he’s never returned home. Ed came to Lions Roar regularly. He was a successful businessman, didn’t need much. Then, in a session led by a friend who was also a businessman, he got a glimpse of that man’s level of success—and that man's stewardship. When Ed got home, he began to use the same pattern in his business. In just the first year, his bottom line increased 50%. Radical change in thought, radical change in business. Change happened ... Carven left demonic worship and the cartels and joined a men’s group. His new friends brought him to Lions Roar. There, he met Otto Kelly. Otto brought light into the parts of Carven’s life that were still pitch black. Carven started to see his way out. The next year, Carven came back and testified about raising his children in Christ. The cartels are a distant, albeit painful memory, but that life is over. Gone. New life in Christ has taken hold. Change happened ... LIFE GOT BETTER!
