A few years ago, we spontaneously gave an offering on Saturday morning at the close of our Lions Roar Summit. That offering sent hundreds of Maximized Manhood books and other CMN resources to disciple incarcerated men in the Phoenix County prison.
One of the men discipled in the prison was an offender named Paul Vargas. After leaving prison he started attending a Maximized Manhood group at a local church.
His life was radically changed by the power of God.
Not only did Paul build his faith in that men’s group, but he also continued his journey with Christ by working at the Dream Center in Phoenix – and today is the Life Recovery Director – and is discipling hundreds of men every month.
As each of us gave an offering that Saturday – little did we know that our small gift would result in the life changing power of God touching thousands of men!
How many more Paul’s are there across the nations? How many more men will have their lives transformed because a few men like you and me care enough to give, to pray, to care … there are thousands.
And every one of them a story like Paul, “I was lost but now I am found, I was blind but now I see, I was drowning but Jesus rescued me”.
This is why we do this – to rescue men, who rescue other men. One man received a gift and thousands of men have been saved.
