Nicodemus found out - it's personal.

There’s never been a greater promise than what Jesus told a man late one night on a dark desert highway. The man was Nicodemus. A religious leader that came to Jesus on the side to find out what this new teaching was all about. It was a very direct, personal confrontation.

In their conversation Jesus said this, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him” (John 3:16-17).

Nicodemus knew God as a shepherd, knew him as creator, knew him as Jehovah – knew the law and the commandments. And now he found out it’s personal.

Our relationship with God is personal. God loves us as a good father – the best father –  and it’s all personal. Individual, specific, particular ... personal.

Not just a large group or tribe, but personal.

God said this to you and me from the prophet Jeremiah, “I have loved you, my people (family), with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.” (Jeremiah 33:3).

God is our Father, and it’s all personal.

Here’s a blessing from God for you personally, “All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ” (Ephesians 1:3).

The promises of God’s word are personal. The stories of the early church are our stories – they’re personal. And when you pray … it’s personal.

Follow Jesus and live in his strength because it’s a personal relationship. Real, authentic, genuine and personal.

And join the brotherhood November 6-8 in Dallas, TX for Lions Roar to meet strong men who know God—personally.
