Yesterday Pastor Joe Champion of Celebration Church in Austin, Texas, texted me this picture he took of a man on a plane that he saw studying Majoring in Men curriculum.

Next week CMN teams head to Peru, Paraguay, and Argentina where CMN South America led by Pastor Robert Barriger and Christian Scheelje are moving hard and fast to engage more church groups and disciple more men. They are covering all of Latin America - it's remarkable.
Today, nowhere is ministry to men more critical than in Argentina. The nation has struggled with crippling economic disasters, one after another, barely climbing out of a Great Depression before being hit again by staggering inflation that is making the poor poorer and spreading hardship and misery like we saw in the United States in the 1920s and 30s.
As a result, young Argentinian boys like those pictured above, live in a nation rich in natural resources and yet with little hope for their future. Argentinian men can barely provide for their families - it's a tough time.
What can be done? God’s answer throughout Scripture is to raise up men and ministry, and money follows. The churches of Argentina are following that pattern. Against extreme challenges, men are boldly marching forward to meet the nation’s needs by discipling men and launching a men’s movement across that beautiful country.

These brave men are fighting: 30% inflation, one-third of the nation in abject poverty, the worst drought in recent history, a culture of violence against women, an inability to get cash out of banks or from outside sources. Against that negative tide, these champions took Majoring in Men books, just the way Robert Barriger and his team taught them, and distributed them across their country in Spanish. The result?
On March 20, we will “commission” 1000 men who have completed the entire Majoring in Men curriculum—in one meeting, all at the same time!
I’m asking you today to be a part of this. Let’s all do something, no matter how small, to make some heroes who can help these boys. Today, you can help a man in Argentina by sending just $10 per man.

Please help these boys, tomorrow’s leaders, by helping men change their nation. We cannot help the generation that came before, but we can help the men today who are paving new roads for the next generation.
