Robert Barriger said, "What we're doing isn't easy. It's hard. All the easy things are already done." So true.
We've always taught, “Obedience is doing the next little thing God tells you to do.”
Is it easy? Yes, because Jesus did the work at the Cross and we can trust Him as we follow Him. The Cross is our place of victory.
Is it hard? Well, yes, it's hard, because we have to trust Him. And we have to overcome fear, do the work, and then finish the mission.
The good news is, God leads us step by step. He doesn’t lay out a freeway for us. He guides our steps, one day at a time. He sheds light on our path, not the whole trip. More like a flashlight than a nighttime airport runway.
And the little things He tells us to do, some that are remarkably simple, over time, become big accomplishments. It's the day-to-day walk with Him.
And look at the results in our CMN brotherhood….
Pastor Sam Masteller is leading a powerful team to Vietnam again this year and, for the first time, ministering in Cambodia, where the first CMN books are now translated into Khmer. One step at a time… yeah, it's not easy ... do it anyway.
It's not easy; do it anyway.
Men gave funds for the Arabic language books. Many gave $10, some more. Small steps. Now, the team is not just reaching one Middle Eastern nation, but FOUR. They head out in a couple of weeks. Step by step… not easy, but we go forward anyway.
CMN men are plunging further into the Amazon this Fall. Plunging “further,” got that? Because first, someone took a small step. It's not easy; we're going anyway.
Why are these men doing these things? Because they took the next step.
Take the next step today. Buy the books. Launch a group. Donate to help men in Asia and Middle East.
Christ did the hard part. We just have to take the next step.
