For the New Testament believers, the presence of God was no longer external, but internal. When Jesus broke the curse of death, he opened our hearts to life in God’s presence and the life of Christ in us.
That’s where you live today. In his presence and filled with his presence.
Here’s the promise that goes with that:
“Whenever they were in trouble and turned to the Lord, the God of Israel, and sought him out, they found him.” (2 Chron 15:4)
He is the God who will be found. He’s here now, with you, in you. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you. (Romans 8:11) And in His presence, our hearts are filled with confidence. (Psalm 16:11)
And here’s a great promise “… times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord.” (Acts 3:20)
Be refreshed and walk with confidence. His presence is with you.
