Don't Quarantine Faith!

Don't Quarantine Faith!
Since I left for South America last week a lot has changed. Our nation and the world have been gripped by fear and the stranglehold seems to be increasing. Worry, anxiety, and unrest are rising as the threat of the coronavirus spreads.

In a situation that could breed great fear, God spoke to Joshua, and his friends did also, they consistently told Joshua, “This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord, your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9 NLT)

Our prayer is that people will be healed of the coronavirus and that medical experts will discover the cure. But our greater prayer is that men and women everywhere will be discipled in Christ and set free of fear, filled with courage and live boldly with confidence.

We had tremendously successful meetings in Peru before the government banned public gatherings. Our commissioning of 1000 men in Argentina scheduled for this weekend has been postponed but this just gives us more time to train and equip even more men before the ceremony.

So, we are not backing down but pressing forward with
resolve and courage.

In the midst of the current global crisis and overwhelming bad news, we need to remember this one truth.

"Faith comes by hearing ... " and so does fear.

And our online resource AchieveLab is the perfect place to build your faith and lead your family, church, and community at this time.

Watch fear-relievers like Rob Carman or Al Furey with your kids. Relive the 2019 Global Summit. Laugh with TD Jakes or Stephen Mansfield. Listen with your wife to Nancy Houston talking about intimacy. This week, we're adding even more tremendous teachings to strengthen your faith and crush fear by men like Dr. Phil Pringle who is considered one of the premiere ministers on faith around the world.

It is in these times men of God must rise and lead. Brotherhood needs to be strengthened. As A.W. Tozer said, “A scared world needs a fearless church!
