Sitting around a fire with good friends, one of the men murmured, “I just feel exhausted.”
He’s a strong man. A leader. The kind of man others lean on.
But...even men who carry others need brothers who will carry them.
Beneath the pressure and fatigue, men have a longing that says, “Surround me with brothers who won’t let me quit.”
Four men carried their paralyzed friend to Jesus (see Mark 2). When the doorway was blocked, they climbed. When the roof stood in the way, they dug. They believed their brother had a future beyond his mat.
Jesus “saw their faith.”
Often, your faith carries another man until he can walk again.
That’s what matters. Showing up. Taking hold of a corner. Helping a brother get to Jesus.
We're called to “think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works” (Hebrews 10:24 NLT).
That’s why I’ve invited you to Lions Roar. Possibly the most motivating, life-inspiring room you'll be in this year. Come get your hope renewed. Strengthen your faith.
Stand with brothers who will help you carry what God has entrusted to you.
And then, as a brotherhood, let's carry men to Jesus.
There’s a world of men who need brothers like you who are willing to carry them. We are those men. And when you need help, we're there for you.
Let’s carry men to Jesus—and change their families' future.
We are CMN. We carry men ...
Your friend, brother, and ally.
Grace and Peace,
Paul Louis Cole
