2025: Embrace the Power of Christ's Sacrifice

Jesus came to set people free … and  it would take everything He could offer in the confines of His humanity to make that happen. He was under such deep stress that he sweat out blood … it was violent, gritty, difficult, and seemingly impossible. And that sacrifice and determination of Christ brought about our salvation and our freedom.

Paul said, “Let the same mind that was in Christ Jesus be also in you” (Philippians 2:5)

We are to begin to think in the same manner that Jesus did. That sounds just fine if it’s just all about praying for someone, or preaching or hanging out with the disciples distributing food. But it also means having that same endurance, strength, grit, resilience, and faith in difficult situations.

Jesus left us this promise: “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

A witness is a carrier of Truth … and Truth is a person.

We carry Jesus - truth, life, joy - new beginnings to every man in every nation on earth. It takes all we have, but we follow Christ and because we follow Christ, we are "more than conquerors" through Him.

Let's start the year off right, as brothers.
